“It’s better to be the person who makes others afraid than it is to be the person who is afraid in the Point。”I did not care about the weird warning of the book。 If Jay Crownover is releasing a new book, I am buying it and giving it a chance。 Let me just say that this chance was so worth it。 Yes, I was confused, yes, I was involved in the characters, and yes, I was blown away by the ending。 It was everything I did not know that I needed in my life right now。 I hate spoiling books for people in r “It’s better to be the person who makes others afraid than it is to be the person who is afraid in the Point。”I did not care about the weird warning of the book。 If Jay Crownover is releasing a new book, I am buying it and giving it a chance。 Let me just say that this chance was so worth it。 Yes, I was confused, yes, I was involved in the characters, and yes, I was blown away by the ending。 It was everything I did not know that I needed in my life right now。 I hate spoiling books for people in reviews so I will just say that the love between Vesper and Oscar is beautiful no matter the circumstances and revenge can be sweet if done properly。 “I’ll be the best bad thing that ever happened to you, Oscar。 Don’t give up on me。” 。。。more

Her Best Work YetI've read every book published by Jay and this is my favorite this far! You could tell how passionate she was about the storyline and all the little details。 While she was writing this book she mentioned this story would be a bit weird, and she was right! BUT it was the perfect amount of weirdness, character development(kinda, you'll understand when you read it), and of course sexiness Her Best Work YetI've read every book published by Jay and this is my favorite this far! twists and turns4。5 stars。 The characters of Vesper and Oscar are really great。 Without giving anything away, the way this book and the characters move through the mysteries is great and unexpected at times。 Really enjoyed this one。

Another Amazingly written book。The Best Bad Things by Jay CrownoverOk wow! Is any one else perplexed like me? Don’t get me wrong I’m perplexed in the best way ever I loved the book。 My brain is just very puzzled。 There was so much going on so many suggests realities or versions of what was really Vespers and Oscar’s reality。 Each world or universe in which they found them selves was more interesting then the last。 Each was full of suspense and drama that had me reading page after page wanting to Another Amazingly written book。The Best Bad Things by Jay CrownoverOk wow! You will have to grab it and find out 。 Highly recommend you do。 。。。more

The Best Bad Things: A Point Companion Novel by J。 Crownover is a book like no other by this author。 You don't have to read the previous books, this is a stand-alone and you're good to go。It's a twisty, suspenseful unable to put down read that really, really got to me。 There are layers and twists, unexpected turns I never saw coming, that had me in suspense from start til the last page。Vesper and Oscar are kind of starcrossed lovers, destined to meet and fall in love, but keep in mind, this book The Best Bad Things: A Point Companion Novel by J。 Crownover is a book like no other by this author。 You don't have to read the previous books, this is a stand-alone and you're good to go。It's a twisty, suspenseful unable to put down read that really, really got to me。 There are layers and twists, unexpected turns I never saw coming, that had me in suspense from start til the last page。Vesper and Oscar are kind of starcrossed lovers, destined to meet and fall in love, but keep in mind, this book is layeed, like really layered。 It took me a minut to get into it, bit then o girl I was in for a ride and I found a new fav book。 I recommend the book, 5 stars。 。。。more

First off, big round of applause for this cover。 It’s so beautiful, I just can’t stop looking at it。 It catches my eye for sure。 But anyways。 I loved this book。 I actually really recommend going in blind, but as far as my review, I’ll try not to spoil anything。 At times, I was more confused than Vesper。 But for the most part, I liked following her journey and seeing how different choices could have an effect on everything around you。 And the way she fell in love with Oscar, and how real he was, First off, big round of applause for this cover。 It’s so beautiful, I just can’t stop looking at it。 It catches my eye for sure。 But anyways。 I loved this book。 I actually really recommend going in blind, but as far as my review, I’ll try not to spoil anything。 At times, I was more confused than Vesper。 But for the most part, I liked following her journey and seeing how different choices could have an effect on everything around you。 And the way she fell in love with Oscar, and how real he was, and how he treated her, felt like they were soulmates。 I also really liked how she took any opportunity given to better appreciate her life and the people in it。 I know I’d love to go back with a fresh perspective and a bit more confidence than I used to have。 This story ended up being a little funky and fun, and I was here for all of it! 。。。more

Crownover never fails to blend the old with the new and she's exceeded my expectations, despite the fact I didn't know what to expect to begin with。 Regardless, I knew we were in for a wild ride and Lord knows I had to hold on for dear life。 I've never felt more nostalgic about going back to The Point then when reading The Best Bad Things。 While her other works have ventured back to The Point before, it's never been done like this。 The Best Bad Things is unique compared to Jay's other novels in Crownover never fails to blend the old with the new and she's exceeded my expectations, despite the fact I didn't know what to expect to begin with。 Regardless, I knew we were in for a wild ride and Lord knows I had to hold on for dear life。 I've never felt more nostalgic about going back to The Point then when reading The Best Bad Things。 While her other works have ventured back to The Point before, it's never been done like this。 The Best Bad Things is unique compared to Jay's other novels in that rather than center on the love of Oscar and Vesper, their story comes second to the life Vesper thought she was living and what she needs to do in order to make it a life worthy of living。 A true sentiment many of us can relate to。 Vesper may not come from The Point, but her spirit sure does。 Willing to do everything and anything it takes to right her wrongs, hold herself accountable, and make the changes so many of us want to, but never do。 No character has ever been more badass enough to not only survive The Point, but return to it, than Vesper。 So it's only natural she and Oscar find each other。 To quote our lovley Crownover, "You can take the boy out of The Point, but you can't take The Point out of the boy。" Vesper and Oscar's story is the epitome of "What If?" At some point in our lives that question will always present itself, but Crownover does a brilliant job of showing us through Oscar and Vesper's journey that sometimes "What If?"。。。。。 isn't the most important question to ask。 Most of all sometimes we find the best parts of ourselves and in others when we feel like we're living the worst moments of our lives。 Taking "everything happens for a reason" to a whole new level, Crownover never fails to show us that it's the simplest moments in life that end up being the most influential。 A true adventure of love, self-discovery, murder, and jaw dropping perpection that even Crownover wasn't able to anticipate。 Beware, this is one of the few novels you'll ever read where you won't be able to anticipate the authors next move。 So strap in and enjoy the ride。 This one shook me in a way I never anticipated。 。。。more

A little off the usual from Jay Crownover but a Whole Lot of AWESOMEThis is not a typical Jay Crownover book。 Bit in typical Jay Crownover fashion, the story is told so well that you can see yourself there and feel the raw emotion from the characters。 If you are an avid reader of Ms。 Crownover's books, you will quickly realize you are traveling back to a similar fictional universe。To say this book has twists and turns is an epic understatement。 Buckle up before you read this one because you are A little off the usual from Jay Crownover but a Whole Lot of AWESOMEThis is not a typical Jay Crownover book。 Bit in typical Jay Crownover fashion, the story is told so well that you can see yourself there and feel the raw emotion from the characters。 If you are an avid reader of Ms。 Crownover's books, you will quickly realize you are traveling back to a similar fictional universe。To say this book has twists and turns is an epic understatement。 Buckle up before you read this one because you are in for a treat and a wild ride。  。。。more
